THE HEALTH AND Safety Authority has begun an investigation after a woman died on a farm in County Roscommon.
The HSA says that as of now, there is no indication as to how the accident occurred. Local radio station Shannonside FM reports that woman, named as 60-year-old Lucy Connor was injured by cattle on her family farm.
Another woman was injured at the Kilrooskey farm.
The death brings to 22 the number of people killed on Irish farms this year.
