SOMEHOW THIS MAKES all our childhood efforts at building train tracks look slightly mediocre in retrospect.
This gigantic toy train track which was built in China this week measures 2.8 kilometres (2,888 metres) and is believed to be the world’s longest. It’s on display at the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum if you happen to be popping by China at any point in the next few days.
Now, where’s our childhood box of toys…. THIS ISN’T OVER.
