Man arrested in Alan Ryan murder investigation

The man in his 20s is the fourth person to be arrested in connection with the shooting dead of the paramilitary leader.

A MAN IN his 20s has been arrested by Gardaí as part of the investigation into the murder of Alan Ryan.

The man was detained in Artane in Dublin this afternoon. He is currently being held at Coolock Garda Station

It brings to four the number of people arrested as part of the investigation.

Ryan was shot and fatally wounded in Clongriffin in Dublin in September last year.

His paramilitary-style funeral was led by masked members of the the Real IRA. More than twenty people were arrested in connection with the discharge of firearms at Ryan’s funeral.
