A detailed description of the woman’s clothes and personal items have been provided in the hope someone will know who she is.

GARDAÍ ARE SEEKING the public’s assistance in identifying a woman whose body was recovered from the sea this week.

The body was recovered at The Bull Wall in Clontarf, Dublin, on Tuesday. She is believed to have been in her late 60s or early 70s and is described as being of slight build with grey hair.

The woman was wearing a red light-weight jumper which had a floral pattern, a white vest or t-shirt, black corduroy trousers and black shoes which had a heel and square toe. She also had a green, navy and red leather money holder around her neck.

Gardaí said a green quilted jacket and blue polka dot umbrella were found close to where the woman’s body was located.

They are appealing for anyone with information which may help identify this woman to contact them at Clontarf Garda Station on 01 6664800, the Garda Confidential Line, 1800 666111 or any Garda Station.
