IF YOU’RE STICKING to a budget while looking for a new home, you’ll know how stressful it can be. Never fear – each week, we take a look at four homes at a certain price point, in locations all over the country, so you can get a better idea of what’s out there.
This week, we’re looking at homes at the €200,000 price mark, also known as some of the best value homes on the market. Here are four of our favourites…
This three-bedroom, semi-detached home is located in Roundwood Close, a development in the quiet village of Mountrath, just outside Portlaoise town – so you’ll get all the conveniences Portlaoise has to offer, with a quieter lifestyle.
The bedrooms in 192 Roundwood Close large and come carpeted, and all have built-in wardrobes. Gas-fired central heating keeps the place warm, and outside, there’s a large rear garden plus a decking area.
This home in Hillview, Clarecastle was built just over a year ago, so it’s got a wide variety of modern features that includes an A3 BER and zoned heating, which extends to underground heating in parts.
Located close to Clarecastle village, the three-bedroom home boasts plenty of space. All three bedrooms are doubles, and outside, there’s a decent sized garden, car parking spaces, and it also has a shed.
This property is open for viewing this Saturday, March 31st, from 12-12:30pm.
Celbridge is a town that is deceptively close to Dublin, so this two-bedroom apartment is a great choice for commuters or those priced out of the city. Number 6 is on the first floor of the small development (it has 12 units overall) and it has a south-facing garden and parking included in the sale.
Inside, there’s an open fire to keep cosy by, and the open plan kitchen/living room is a great space to work or relax in. All appliances, curtains, blinds and flooring come included with the sale here, so it’s a great purchase for those who want a hassle-free move.
Fiodh Mor is a quiet development on the Abbey Park road, close to Waterford city but with its own sense of peace and quiet. This three-bedroom home is close to a local bus route, making access to all the city’s amenities a breeze.
Inside, bedrooms feature fitted wardrobes, there’s an open fireplace in the front room, and there’s a tastefully designed open-plan kitchen/dining area in the centre of the home.
