GARDAÍ ARE CONTINUING to investigate the death of a man following a confrontation outside a pub in Ballyphehane in Co Cork in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Gerard Delaney, 51, died after a row between a large group of people outside the Manhattan pub on Lower Friars Walk in Ballyphehane in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Delaney, from Mahon in Co Cork, died of a combination of head trauma and stab wounds it was confirmed yesterday evening. Breakingnews.ie reports that the argument is thought to be related to an ongoing feud between two families on the southside of Cork City.
The investigation continues although as yet no arrests have been made.
A woman in her twenties and a man, 18, were also injured in the incident but their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
