Man charged in connection with death of Jason Saunders

Saunders was found outside the Cabra House Pub on Fassaugh Avenue on 18 March.

GARDAÍ IN CABRA have charged a man in connection to the death 21-year-old Jason Saunders.

Saunders was found outside the Cabra House Pub on Fassaugh Avenue at about 7:40 am yesterday after suffering what were described as serious injuries to his upper body.

He was taken to Mater Hospital where he was pronounced dead about an hour later.

Gardaí recovered a golf club not far from where his body was found which has been taken away for analysis.

A man, aged 22, was charged in connection with the incident.

Earlier today, a 25-year-old man was released without charge.

The man charged this evening will appear before Court number two at the Central Criminal Court  tomorrow at 10.30am.
