Wicklow snowman reappears with message around his neck

Sorry seems to be the hardest word….

THE GIANT INFLATABLE snowman missing from Wicklow town for over a week has made a return, but is a shadow of his former self.

Snowy went missing in the early hours of last Monday morning from the rooftop of a shop in Fitzwilliam Square.

A mass appeal for information on his whereabouts got underway, and there were several reported – but not confirmed – sightings.

Now he has made his return but is in a sorry, rather than snowy state:

@DiverBuzz tells us via Twitter that the deflated snowman was left inside the railings at the Fitzwilliam Square monument with a “sorry” note around his neck.

Wicklow Chamber of Commerce had said that it was feared that Snowy had been the victim of high winds, although this apologetic return would indicate that there may have been foul play involved.

Or maybe Snowy just needed a break and took a walk? We know it’s possible.

The things he must have seen…
