Man shot in Dublin's north inner city

The shooting is believed to be related to the ongoing feud between the Hutch and Kinahan gangs.

A MAN HAS been injured in a shooting in Dublin’s north inner city tonight.

The incident occurred at around 10pm at the Liberty House flats on Railway Street in Dublin 1. It is understood the man was hit by a car before he was shot. He sustained a number of gunshot wounds.

Gardaí said he has been taken to the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, where his injuries are described as not life-threatening.

The shooting is believed to be related to the ongoing feud between the Hutch and Kinahan gangs.

Investigating gardaí are appealing for witnesses and who may have information or who may have seen anything unusual or suspicious to contact them at Store Street garda station on 01 666 800 The Garda Confidential Line, 1800 666111 or any garda station.
