Gardaí appeal for help to track down car involved in Ballymun hit-and-run last month
A motorcyclist seriously injured in the incident has been in hospital for the last month.
A MOTORCYCLIST INJURED in a hit-and-run in Dublin last month remains in hospital.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to come forward.
The hit-and-run occurred on the night of Monday, 6 April, when gardaí were alerted shortly after 10pm that a man had been struck by a car on Santry Avenue in Ballymun.
The driver of the car failed to remain at the scene.
The motorcyclist, a man in his late teens, was taken to the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. He remains in hospital at this time, gardaí said.
The vehicle that failed to remain at the scene is believed to be a white or cream Renault Kaptur with a black roof.
Anyone who has any relevant information or who may have witnessed the incident – including those with any footage – is asked to come forward.
