WATCH: Chinese soldiers pass around a live grenade

DON’T TRY THIS one at home, kids.

In this blood pressure-raising video, Chinese soldiers in the People’s Liberation Army of China pass around a live grenade as part of a military training exercise.

Each soldier holds the grenade in his hand for a moment before passing it on to the next.

The final soldier throws it into a hole in the ground and the soldiers fling themselves to the ground as it explodes. Yikes.

Definate fake modern hand grenade fuses don’t smoke when you pull the firing pin… Looks more like a bomb from Tom and Gerry!!!

The 2nd drop doesn’t seem to match exactly with the source of the explosion. Looks fake alright.
Plus, who’d be stupid enough to trust the timing on a fuse.!?

  There’s only two possibilities here, either its fake, and thats a possibility as the Chinese are known to have used trickery in the past to make themselves look good. They once used a clip from Top Gun to show off a new fighter plane they had.
  If its real, then what kind of idiots let their soldiers play around with a live grenade for training purposes just to make themselves look like “Rambo’s” for the camera. The commanding officer who would allow that should be shot… no wait I wasn’t serious… I didn’t know the actually DID shoot people for things like that in China and then bill their family for the price of the bullet. It’s not a grenade , it’s a very small segment of P4 or similar plastic explosive, there will be very little effect as there is no fragmentation , so it’s a spectacle as opposed to a dangerous form of ” grenade orientation”

I’m pretty sure thats fake. Watch the throw. Also the 2 explosions are a different intensity, which they couldn’t be if it was down to timing so exactly.

  But there are two different target holes, you can see the device disappearing as there is a small target hole you can’t really make out from the video. This is part of an impressive and larger demonstration of Chinese Army and Navy.

Its typical Chinese propaganda if you look at the second half 0f the clip the grenade (smoke bomb)is thrown too the ground beside the hole not into it .I have seen a few grenades and the only ones that ever had smoke coming out of the top of them had ACME on the side and were been dropped on the road runner . meep meep .

The video is real, Its part of there training & has been for decades..this training builds trust with your fellow soldiers, your putting your life in the hands of someone who you trust, which in a combat situation is crucial

They dont use a grenade for the exercise, you can tell its not a grenade in the video, its way to big, its a small explosive which is used to clear holes & bunkers in ground operations
