GARDAI HAVE CONFIRMED that they have arrested a man as part of their investigation into the shooting dead of Alan Ryan.
The man, who’s in his late 40s, was arrested by Gardaí in Coolock last night and is currently being detained under Section 30 Offences Against the State 1939.
Ryan was known to Gardaí for his links with the Real IRA – he was convicted in 2001 of taking part in a Real IRA training camp in Meath and also for firearms possession on another occasion.
