The special bumper edition of the magazine features interviews, recipes, quizzes and, of course, TV and radio listings for the festive period.
Back when everyone watched TV, the guide was essential to tracking what movies were on when.
With the rise of streaming and on-demand services, however, the number of people watching traditional television channels has dropped, and figures show sales of the RTÉ Guide declined steadily in the early years of the 21st century.
