World must be 'mindful' of AI risks, McEntee says after rogue OpenAI model hack on Australian site
The AI model bypassed safeguards during training went on to hack the government website.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said the AI tool sought access to a health statistics portal in June and "didn't accept no for an answer".
OpenAI did not raise the alarm until September, when it sent a message to a generic email inbox that is only checked once each day.
