A NUMBER OF searches are being carried out on homes and businesses in Dublin today by the Criminal Assets Bureau.

The operation is part of an ongoing investigation into an organised criminal gang in the Dublin region.

Motor dealerships and private homes are being targeted as part of the operation.

The Emergency Response Units, Armed Support Unit and the Special Crime Task Force are assisting in the operation.

The searches are continuing throughout the day.
