The arrests and seizure took place in south Dublin last night.

GARDAÍ HAVE ARRESTED three men and seized a large quantity of heroin in Dublin in the last 24 hours.

As part of an intelligence led operation in the Dublin south central area, gardaí arrested three men in their 30s on the Crumlin Road in Dublin 12 at around 6.30pm last night.

A quantity of heroin (pending analysis) was seized and the three men were arrested.

At a follow-up search at an apartment in West Park, Rathcoole at around 8pm a large quantity of heroin, with an estimated street value of €650,000, was seized.

Gardaí say “various drug paraphernalia”, including a hydraulic press, bagging materials and scales, were also seized.

The three men continue to be held at Irishtown, Kevin Street, and Kilmainham garda stations.
