Biography

Elected as a Meath county councillor in 1999, he was elected to the Dáil in 2002 and has been a sitting TD since. The current Minister of State for Skills, Research and Innovation, he has held a number of front-bench positions in Fine Gael and has been deputy spokesperson for a number of portfolios.
