Biography

He ran in the 2014 Roscommon-South Leitrim by-election where he secured 82 first preference votes. He is a prominent member of the Land League West, which agitates to keep people from facing bank repossessions of their homes, and is running under the banner of that movement.

I\'m an independent candidate that has stood up for the people of Mayo for the last number of years when our politicians have failed us.

What is your number one priority for your constituency?

That every family will have their own family home and I will fight tooth and nail so that their homes won\'t be taken by the banks.

What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?

I would be fighting for the old and young forgotten farmers because agriculture is the backbone of rural Ireland.
