Biography

He first entered politics as a Tipperary North county councillor in 1991. He entered the Dáil in 2007 after having failed to be elected in 2002 and has served since. He is vice-chairperson of the Oireachtas Committee on Environment, Culture and the Gaeltacht.

I have a strong track record since my election by the people of Tipperary and never stop working hard to bring the best to the Premier County.

What is your number one priority for your constituency?

Job creation and continued economic recovery throughout all areas of Co Tipperary.

What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?

Bring continued investment into Tipperary and improve the livelihoods of communities living here in terms of jobs, health, education, farming.
