Biography

Elected to the Dáil on his first attempt in 2002, he has been a sitting TD since. The government chief whip, he is also Minister of State at the Department of the Taoiseach and Defence. He has introduced some Dáil reform during his time as government chief whip.

I’ve a proven track record of working tirelessly for the people of Wexford. We need a stable government that can secure the recovery.

What is your number one priority for your constituency?

Creating the conditions in Wexford where people have access to jobs, local businesses thrive, tourists flock to and services are of the highest standard.

What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?

Use the recovery to ensure every household feels the benefits by reforming our tax system and supporting front line services like Gardai and nurses.
