Biography
Varadkar was first elected as a TD in the 2007. He became the country's youngest ever Taoiseach in 2017. He previously served as Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, Social Protection and Health respectively. He is a former Mayor of Fingal County Council. Before his career in politics, he qualified as a GP.
