Biography
Healy was first elected as a TD in 2000. He lost his seat in the 2007 general election and was re-elected in 2011 with the Workers and Unemployed Action party. He was re-elected in 2016 as an Independent. He previously served as a Councillor on South Tipperary County Council since 1985. He was elected Mayor of Clonmel in 1994.
