Sinn Féin

Constituency

Clare

Occupation

Stay-at-home mother

Age

32

ELECTED

Biography

Wynne has a degree in psychology from Trinity College Dublin. She previously worked as a home help provider for young adults with disabilities. She also spent three years in the reserve Defence Forces. She is currently a stay-at-home mother to five children.

Question Time

Q.

Why should someone vote for you?

Because I’m an ordinary person and we’ve suffered the consequences of austerity for too long now. It’s time for a change.

Q.

What is your number one priority for your constituency?

I want to say it\'s a tie between health and housing, but if I had to choose I’d say health. There’s no A and E department here in Clare and travelling to Limerick can take up to an hour and a quarter, which is just too long.

Q.

What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?

I want to restore maternity services to Clare.
