Bobby Aylward is an outgoing Fianna Fáil TD in the Carlow-Kilkenny constituency. The 55-year-old farmer Bobby Aylward was first elected as a TD in 2007, filling the Fianna Fáil seat which had been held by his brother Liam since 1977. Aylward also has fifteen years of experience in local politics as a member of Kilkenny County Council from 1992 until the time of his general election victory.
