      Undeterred by his failure to win election to Dáil Eireann on his last three attempts, Councillor Brian Meaney is the Green Party candidate in Clare. Meaney has served on Clare County Council since 2004 and is also currently one of the Green Party's representatives on the Forum for Europe.
