Outgoing TD Ciaran Lynch is running for re-election as a deputy for Cork South-Central. The 46-year old was elected to Dáil Eireann at the first time of asking, winning one of the five seats on offer in the constituency in 2007. Lynch previously sat as a member of Cork City Council from 2004 to 2007. He is currently the Labour Party's Spokesperson on Housing and Local Government.



 

Did you know?

When not in the classroom teaching, Lynch has been actively working on behalf of Labour in Cork, serving on the party's constituency executive and as a campaign organiser.
