Dan Boyle

6
Constituency: Cork South Central
Date of Birth: 14/08/1962

The Green Party will be hoping that Dan Boyle, the current Deputy Leader of the Seanad, will be able to regain his seat in the competitive Cork South-Central constituency. After four previous unsuccessful attempts, Boyle's tally of almost 5,000 first-preference votes was enough to see him elected to Dáil Éireann in 2002. Despite picking up an almost identical amount of votes in 2007, he narrowly lost out on his seat and was nominated to the Seanad by the Taoiseach shortly thereafter.

  • More Accountability - Those responsible for economic collapse must be made be legally accountble for their actions.
  • Stronger Community - With less resources for Social Services more support than ever needed to support voluntary work.
  • Ending Boom and Bust Economics - Controlling public expeniture to be a prime priority.
