Constituency: Cork South Central
Senator Jerry Buttimer is one of three Fine Gael candidates set to contest the five-seat Cork South Central constituency. Although the secondary school teacher failed in his general election bid in 2007, he was elected by Seanad Eireann's Labour Panel later that year. He is currently serving as the Seanad Spokesperson on Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs.
