      The Green Party's Paul Gogarty is an outgoing TD for Dublin Mid-West. Gogarty was first elected to South Dublin County Council in 1999 before picking up one of the three seats available in Dublin Mid-West in 2002. The colourful TD came to national prominance following his infamous "f**k you Deputy Stagg" outburst in December 2009. Gogarty's Oireachtas profile states that he was an editor and journalist before becoming a full-time politician.
