The appearance of outgoing TD Roisin Shortall on the ballot in the Dublin North-West will surprise few. The 56-year-old has represented the constituency for the past eighteen years since her election on the first count in 1992. Shortall, who served a term as the chairperson of the Eastern Health Board from 1996 to 1998, is currently the party's Spokesperson on Social and Family Affairs.
