Senator Brendan Ryan has received the Labour nomination to challenge for a seat in Dublin North, a constituency in which the party currently holds no seats. Although Ryan was left empty-handed after his only previous run in the constituency in 2007, he was elected by the Seanad's Administrative Panel shortly afterwards. Now 54 years-old, Ryan is the Labour Party's current Spokesperson on Consumer Affairs.
He looks well for 64!
