      First time candidate Hugh Sheehy will be contesting the general election as an Independent in Dublin South East. Sheehy works as a senior manager with Google. He lived in Barcelona with his family before returning to Ireland in 2008.

      • Address the current crisis by moving quickly, and not by spreading the adjustment out over many years
      • Reclaim the country from special interests and create a fair society
      • Stop Ireland’s governments from destroying the country ever again

      Sheehy follows Kilkenny’s fortunes in hurling, and enjoys watching Barcelona in football.

        A Sandymount resident, UCD & INSEAD graduate and father of three, Hugh is a senior manager at Google in Ringsend.

        With 20+ yrs of international experience in energy, finance, telecom & internet, he is a
        proven innovator and speaks 4 languages. (these are English, Spanish, Dutch and rusty French. After 20 years out of Ireland his Irish language skills are minimal by now)

        Hugh wants to offer his skills, experience and independent point of view to the people of Dublin South East, not to fix potholes but to help fix the country.
