Pat Rabbitte is one of two Labour candidates nominated to run in Dublin South-West. Rabbitte was first elected to Dáil Eireann in 1989 when he ran as the Workers' Party candidate and was re-elected under the Democratic Left banner five years later. Rabbitte was the leader of the Labour Party between 2002 and 2007. He is currently the party's Spokesperson on Justice.
