Date of Birth: 24/10/1968

Fianna Fáil TD Tom McEllistrim will attempt to secure a third term of office when he runs in the newly-redrawn Kerry North-West Limerick constituency. McEllistrim, whose father Tom served as a deputy for Kerry North from 1969-1987 and again from 1989-1992, was first elected himself when he topped the polls in 2002.



 

Did you know?

Prior to becoming a full-time public representative, McEllistrim worked as a secondary school teacher.
