Councillor Anthony Lawlor is one of Fine Gael's two nominees in the Kildare North Constituency. Lawlor, who is a full-time farmer, was co-opted onto Kildare County Council in 1998 following the death of his mother, Patsy. He successfully stood as an independent candidate in the 1999 local elections before joining Fine Gael. Lawlor was re-elected to Kildare County Council in 2009.
Im still undecided would like to vote Finegael after the disaster of a party i voted for last time FF. Im kinda of the opinion we got the raw end of the stick in Kildare North though. This guy im sure is bang on but FG are really selling themselves as the Farmers party. How can a full time farmer give 100% commitment to attend the Dail at every sitting. The carry on up to now with TD’s showing up when it suits them has to stop. If FG make a balls of this chance that were giving them me and many more will emigrate. Dont go back on your promises PLEASE WE BEG YOU.
