Kildare Councillor Paddy Kennedy is an independent candidate for Kildare South. Kennedy, who has previously worked as a factory mechanic, was elected to Kildare County Council in June 2009 when he picked up almost 12 per cent of first-preference votes.

    Paddy getting elected would be great for Newbridge. He helped me organise some concerts for the local youth back in the day. Good luck Paddy!
