Outgoing TD Jan O'Sullivan is one of two candidates selected by the Labour Party to run in Limerick City. O'Sullivan was first elected to the Dáil in a by-election held in 1998 following the death of Jim Kemmy. She has been active in politics at a local level since 1985 and served as Mayor of Limerick in 1993/94. She is currently the Labour Party's Spokesperson on Health.
