Outgoing TD Niall Collins has been selected by Fianna Fáil to seek re-election in Limerick. Following a shortened term as a member of Limerick City Council, the 37-year old accountant from Patrickswell was elected to Dáil Éireann as a first-time candidate in 2007. Collins served as a member of the Public Accounts Committee in the 30th Dáil.
