Constituency: Longford Westmeath

Fianna Fáil councillor Robert Troy is contesting his first general election as a candidate for Longford-Westmeath. The Ballynacargy man was first elected to Westmeath County Council in 2004 when he received over 20 per cent of first-preference votes in the Mullingar West electoral area.



 

Did you know?

In 2010, Troy launched a Facebook campaign which urged people to write letters petitioning against the closure of Mullingar General Hospital.
