Outgoing TD Willie Penrose is one of Labour's two candidates in Longford-Westmeath. The 54-year-old, who is a qualified barrister, was first elected to the Dáil in 1992 and has topped the poll in his constituency in each of his three re-election attempts. He is currently the party's Spokesperson on Enterprise, Trade and Employment.
