Thérèse Ruane

Councillor Therese Ruane is one of two Sinn Féin candidates contesting the general election in Mayo. Ruane was elected to Castlebar Town Council in 2009 and is currently the council's Deputy Mayor. She has been recently active in the area of enviromental sustainability and is the current chairperson of Iompar Caisleán an Bharraigh which promotes sustainable travel in Castlebar and Mayo.
