Labour MEP Alan Kelly has been selected to run in Tipperary North by the party. Kelly, who previously worked in eBusiness with both Bord Failte and Failte Ireland, has a long history of involvement in local and general election campaigns in both Tipperary and Dublin. He was elected to the Seanad's Agricultural Panel in 2007 before winning the final seat as an MEP for the South constituency in 2009.
