Councillor Michael Murphy has been selected to partner Tom Hayes on the Fine Gael ticket in Tipperary South. Murphy, who is a senior executive with the Enfer group, was elected to South Tipperary County Council as a first-time candidate in June 2009. His campaign manifesto highlights healthcare, childcare and education as three issues of pressing concern both locally and nationally.
