Outgoing TD Dick Roche is one of two Fianna Fáil candidates on the party ticket in Wicklow. If re-elected, this will be a sixth term of office for Roche who has served as constituency's deputy from 1987 to 1992 and from 1997 to 2011. Most recently, Roche topped the polls in Wicklow in both the 2002 and 2007 general elections. He was Minister for Environment, Heritage, and Local Government in Bertie Ahern's cabinet from September 2004 - June 2007.
