Open thread: What did the Leaving Cert ever do for us?

What was your own experience of the state exam?

MANY STUDENTS WILL begin stressing about their future after receiving their Leaving Certificate results.

However, for some the exams may have little or no impact on how their life turns out. For others, it could be the most single most important factor in deciding their future.

We spoke to people on the street on this topic to get their opinion on the state examination, and to see how it affected them.
