TEN CREW MEMBERS of a French fishing vessel have been rescued off the Co Kerry coast. Combined efforts from the LE Ciara, the Coastguard inshore lifeboat and the Valentia and Dingle lifeboats helped to assist the crew after their vessel ran aground early on Saturday morning. All the crew are well following the incident.

A MAN IS in critical condition in Limerick Hospital after being rescued by a RNLI lifeboat on Lough Derg on Sunday night. The man, who is in his 60s, was unconscious and suffering from hypothermia when rescue workers found him.
