THE ONLINE NETWORKING SITE LinkedIn has published a list of the most over-used terms posted on the site’s users’ profiles.
LinkedIn has 85m members and allows registered users to post CVs and professional details online. They can send other users messages or link with them to access their professional information and contact details.
“Extensive experience” is the single most-posted description among the site’s US, Canadian and Australian users, but was not the most-used in Europe.

The single most popular word for UK users was “motivated”, Spain chose “dynamic” and most other EU countries used “innovative”, suggesting that a number of motivated, dynamic and innovative people might need to rejuvenate their CV.
