Man (35) dies in industrial accident in Cork

The incident occurred at about 1.30am today.

A 35-YEAR-OLD man has died in an accident at an industrial premises in Little Island, Co Cork.

The accident occurred at about 1.30am at a metal factory. The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) said the man was found near machinery.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, which has been preserved for a technical examination.

Gardaí and the HSA are investigating the incident.
