TUCKED AWAY IN the picturesque surroundings of Castleconnell, Co Limerick, Creeva Lodge has seen plenty of change in its time.
Now a four-bed home it has been renovated and reconfigured which has brought it right up to date. The result has been a welcoming living space with a generous floor area of 192 m². Creeva Lodge is a successful blend of colourful aesthetics and functionality.
Stepping into Creeva Lodge, you are greeted by a tiled porch and French doors that lead to the entrance hall. Throughout the home, thoughtful touches like wood paneling, vaulted ceilings, and open fireplaces create a sense of warmth, while interesting colour schemes and motifs add extra character.
The living spaces have great flow from one to the next. The dining room provides panoramic views through large windows and a window seat, making it an ideal room to entertain in.
Natural light pours into the living room that’s large and inviting. A cosier, more casual den offers another option to unwind or entertain in, too.
The kitchen is a sleek and fresh space that will give the eyes a rest thanks to white cabinets and countertops and a neutral tiled floor. It’s filled with integrated appliances allowing for subtle pops of colour through accessories and plants. French doors from this space lead to the back patio.
Three bedrooms, one of which has an en suite bathroom, are on the ground floor. A family bathroom serves the other two.
The first floor has a main suite, complete with a large dressing room that could be a bedroom in itself. The bedroom also has its own bathroom.
Sitting on a private site that’s home to newly landscaped gardens, this .33 acre plot has a walled-in courtyard with electric gates and mature planting. The spot gets the best of the sun thanks to its south-facing aspect. The outdoor space also has heaps of practical features including outside lighting, taps, and sockets, with ample space for parking to the front.
An additional standout feature is the laundry house that’s a plumbed, wired, and insulated space at the back of the home. Dog owners are sure to love the dog shower.
The home’s location is ideal for growing families with kids of school-going age. The next owners of Creeva Lodge will have their pick of national and secondary school as well as the University of Limerick. Castleconnell village offers beautiful riverside walks and local amenities, while nearby Castletroy is a haven for golfers as well as shoppers.
Direct access to the M7 motorway and major road networks ensures easy connectivity to various places if the office calls. A nice mix of urban and rural living, Creeva Lodge offers space and convenience in unique surroundings.
