Christopher Doyle was born in and lives in Wexford. He is an engineer by training and comes from a farming background. He has travelled, studied. and worked in several industries throughout the US, Europe, north and central Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
The most important thing facing Europe at this time is the challenge to make the project work, and be seen to work, properly for everyone, including Ireland. A strong Europe is good for Ireland.
With two wars on our periphery, we face the greatest threat to peace in Europe since World War II. The implications of what is going on in Ukraine are profound and will have effects for decades for European Union stability and budgets.

I wish to play a role to help manage and adapt to these challenges and to help focus high level thinking, planning and action to protect Europe’s, and by proxy, Ireland’s, interests.

I bring a genuinely European and worldview to this task.
I am from a farming background and live in a mixed farming community. I would wish for this and every other community on this island to prosper in a rapidly changing world.
